Where does funding come from ?
Our total funding comes from underwriters (sponsors) and individual donations. We currently receive no funding as grants -- as a result of having no one on staff with experience in creating grant proposals. At present, most of our underwriters support us in a non-monetary fashion. One donates delicious food so the staff can have a snack on taping night; another provides the movie tickets we give away on each show; and another hosts a link to our website in return for our hosting a link to theirs. We are not compensated by any entity -- television station or website -- for our programming. In our 2006/2007 fiscal year, we received only $125 in donations. (That was a single donation from one of our volunteers.)
