Julie Anne Peters is a children's and young adult author whose work took a new direction when her editor suggested a lesbian love story for the young adult reader. In 2003, Keeping You a Secret became her first LGBT novel. Matt Kailey published his first novel, Our Day Will Come, in 2004. That was followed in 2005 by his memoir, Just Add Hormones, which was a Lambda Literary Award finalist.
