Colorado Author Julie Anne Peters (May 2008)

Julie Anne Peters is a children's and young adult author whose work took a new direction when her editor suggested a lesbian love story for the young adult reader. In 2003, Keeping You a Secret became her first LGBT novel. Since then she has had many awards and accolades including being selected as a finalist for the National Book Award and a Lambda Literary Award winner. Vist Julie's website here.

Colorado Author Matt Kailey (May 2008)

Matt Kailey published his first novel, Our Day Will Come, in 2004. That was followed in 2005 by his memoir, Just Add Hormones, which was a Lambda Literary Award finalist. In 2007, he edited a Denver Post bestseller, Focus on the Fabulous. Matt is now the managing editor of OutFront Colorado. Vist Matt's website here.
